January: Antarctica and the Arctic

This month we will be visiting the coldest parts of the world- the Antarctic and Arctic regions.  It will be a chilly adventure but we are ready to bundle up and learn about the snow and ice along with the animals that live in those places!

Here is how the month will look:

January Theme:  Antarctica and the Arctic

  1. Looks like you've included a lot of nonfiction in your unit this month! I think I'm going to use some of these ideas not only with my tot, but in my Kindergarten classroom. TFS!

  2. Glad I can be of help! I think nonfiction is great, even for the younger crowd. We don't read every page of the nf books but they are great resources for pictures and info!
