Vegetable Collages

 

With our garden bursting forth with all sorts of yummy veggies, we decided to make a few to decorate the house with.  In preparation I went through our scrap box and found/cut little bits of paper, ribbon and anything else we had in four colors- red, green, purple and orange.  I then drew the outline of a red pepper, zucchini, eggplant and carrot on card stock.  Eva started out by sorting the bits of scraps into four piles according to color.

Next she selected a vegetable and filled in the outline with her glue stick and added the appropriate colored scraps.  Here's the zucchini

and the red pepper.

When they were dry, I cut them out and we added stems and now they are hanging on the "vine."
